Apply now for 2027 Legislative Reporter Exchange

Applications are open for the Alaska Center for Excellence in Journalism’s Legislative Reporter Exchange. Reporters can learn the Capitol beat with a seasoned mentor, and provide on-the-ground Legislative coverage their audience wouldn’t otherwise receive. Students fill-in for those reporters, getting immersed in a hands-on newsroom experience, making professional connections and published stories all before graduation.
