ACEJ Offers Spring Grants for Impact Reporting

February 9, 2026 - The Alaska Center for Excellence in Journalism, a fiscally sponsored project of the Alaska Community Foundation, is offering a grant opportunity in Spring 2026 for in-depth Alaska-based reporting. This application period will be open from Feb. 9 - April 10, 2026.

This opportunity for the Alaska Impact Reporting Initiative offers the opportunity for multiple organizations to receive grants of up to $5,000, from a total pool of $19,000.

The Alaska Impact Reporting Initiative is looking for stories that increase public understanding of complex, underreported issues in Alaska.
